Wisconsin teen sentenced for paralyzing friend in crash

The motor vehicle accident happened on a spring morning last year as a group of five friends were returning from a trip to a Wabeno-area cabin. Wisconsin State Patrol reported the teenage driver had alcohol and marijuana in his system when the vehicle swerved into a ditch and overturned.

6 hurt, 1 dead in Germantown multi-vehicle crash

A ten-vehicle pileup involving eight cars and two semitrailers killed one person and sent half a dozen others to Wisconsin hospitals. Germantown police did not reveal the identities of the fatal truck crash victims, but did state that all those involved in the accident were adults.

The accused man, imprisoned on an unrelated charge of burglary, could have as many as 60 years added to his sentence if he is convicted of vehicular homicide.
